After getting a walk-through by Nico from Performance Yacht Sales, we set off to move the boat from Annapolis to it’s new home in Virginia Beach. After a little delay in the morning, we set off out of the Back Creek, into the bay, and made our way 125 nautical miles (nm) south through the Chesapeake Bay over the next 15 hours. Initially, the wind was less than cooperative, but as the day progressed, we got to try each of the sails including the gennaker. Max speed over ground (SOG) was just under 15 knots! We got in at about 0130 on 23 November and had an absolute blast.
